Reiki - Tranquility

Is there a particular music you like to listen to when giving or receiving a Reiki treatment?  If you are seeing clients, do you offer them a selection of music to choose from?

Have a wonderful weekend!

Namaste,

My favorite music to listen to while sharing Reiki/Reflexology is from Chuck Wild and his Liquid Mind Series. I especially enjoy Liquid Mind V: Serenity.

For some reason, his music puts both me and the client into the deepest level of relaxtion and receptivity to the energy.

I don't usually ask the client to choose the music, because I feel it's most important for the choice in music to connect to the practitioner first, because if the practitioner strongly connects to the music, so will the client. That's just my personal observation.

I really liked the music you shared on this You Tube!

Have a wonderful weekend, M!

I see from a little search at iTunes that there are quite a few Liquid Minds to choose from.
I'm glad you are enjoying Chuck Wild's music.
While I would agree that the practioner should be connected to the music, I don't feel that all clients would automatically feel the connection as well.
While doing a session for a friend of mine, she told me specifically to not play anything that was too Middle Eastern because she had recently broken up with her boyfriend (a Pakistani) and that music bothered her.
Also, another friend of mine feels angry when she hears classical music so I don't play it around her.

Thanks for stopping by! xo
